In this course you will be taught how to become a confident snorkeller.
Starting off in a pool or in the shallows of the ocean, we will teach you how to prepare to safely snorkel.
We help you develop skills such as clearing your mask or snorkel of water, proper finning techniques and duck diving..

A refresher scuba session will get you back in the water, with confidence!
Our Refresher Course includes a short theory lesson and then the practical lesson in the pool to refresh those skills. The fefresher course is also very flexable and tailored to suit your needs.
This is a short course on scuba diving. Try it for the very first time in the ease and safety of a pool.
After a short theory lesson and some skill development, we will have you happily blowing bubbles.
Have you ever wondered what its like to breathe underwater or to feel weightless like being in space?
This course is designed for first time divers. It's an introduction into the marine world and no experience is necessary. Your instructor will run you through a short lesson and teach you the foundational skills to get you safely on your way into the underwater world.
If you always wanted to take scuba diving lessons, experience unparalled adventure, and see the world beneath the waves, this is where it all starts. The theory is taught online through E-learning through Padi. It is the entry level scuba diving certification that allows you to go diving anywhere in the world.
This theory can be completed at your own pace and in your own time prior to starting the Open Water course with Mantis Dive.
Once you complete the theory, print the relevant paperwork out and bring it along to your Instructor at Mantis Dive.
The Padi Advanced Openwater course is perfect for enhancing and improving your scuba skills! This course will be conducted over 2 days. There are 5 dives to be completed in order to become a Padi Advanced diver. - 2 core dives, Deep and Navigation, and 3 elective dives, chosen from Naturalist, Drift, Photography, Night, and Peak performance bouyancy, & Enriched Air Nitrox speciality. ( Extra $265 For Nitrox ).
This course is designed to improve your diving skills by
1. reconising fellow divers in trouble and being able to assist them in their time of need, and
2. being able to organise and conduct both surface and underwater techniques for search and rescue.
The course is run over 2 days - day 1 involves pool and theory, day 2 involves ocean training.
Prior to starting course a current 1st aid certification is required.
Minimum 2 students required to start course..
Would you like to spend more time exploring the depths of the ocean? Well this is the course for you as knowing how to use enriched air (Nitrox) allows you to spend greater times at depth.
This course daily runs for 1 hour where we show you how to analyse gas, and the importance of knowing your maximum operating depth.
Learning done by E-learning through Padi website, and completed prior to joining us.
No dive required for ths course.
Become a Professional. Do the Padi Divemaster Course and Go Pro.
This is a full-time course. It starts once a month and runs for 3 weeks.
In this time you will be involved in all facets of the daily running of a dive buisness. From taking bookings through to assisting and teaching students how to dive safely.
The Padi Self-Reliant diver course lets you identify and develop self-reliance and independence while diving. This course enhances your skills in planning and carrying out dives without a buddy, and sharpens your skills of self-reliance, which makes you stronger in a dive pair or team.
Ther a 3 dive required to complete this course.

The Padi digital underwater Photography course will teach you how to take photos underwater and get the most out of your digital camera when diving.
Padi night diver speciality - experience the adventure, thrill and excitement of night diving. As the sun sets, you gear up, this time you drop into a whole new world and watch it come to life under the glow of your dive light.
The requirement for a Dive Medical is ultimately for your own safety. We require that certain types of divers have an AS 4005.1 compliant dive medical carried out before diving with us, particularly the case for Open Water dive courses and situations where a diver has indicated in their Medical Questionnaire that they have a medical issue that is contraindicative to diving.
